Description

The ESP Digivew HD+ is a 4-channel CCTV system supplied with a 4MP DVR recorder, 500GB surveillance-grade hard drive, two white bullet cameras rated IP66 for outdoor use, and a system power supply. The 4-channel DVR supports up to four cameras total, leaving capacity to add two more cameras later without replacing the recorder. Each camera captures 4MP resolution video at 3.6mm focal length, providing coverage of driveways, front doors, side passages and rear gardens out to approximately 25m under infrared night vision.

The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output and records continuously, on schedule or triggered by motion detection. Recorded footage is stored on the pre-installed 500GB hard drive and can be backed up to USB for transfer to other devices. Remote viewing works via the ESP HDview smartphone app or the included CMS software for PC, accessed over wired ethernet or a PowerLine adapter. The system is silent in operation and the mouse-driven interface requires no keyboard for setup or playback.

Each bullet camera housing is rated IP66 against rain and dust, allowing wall or soffit mounting in exposed positions. The 3.6mm lens provides a wide-angle field of view suited to monitoring entrances and pathways rather than long-distance identification. The cameras connect to the DVR via coaxial cable (supplied), carrying both video signal and power from the central system power supply. The white finish suits render, painted masonry and uPVC fascia mounting without visual contrast.

The 500GB hard drive provides approximately 2-4 weeks of continuous recording from two cameras at 4MP resolution, depending on motion activity and compression settings. Recording capacity can be extended by upgrading to 1TB, 2TB, 4TB or 8TB variants of this kit. The DVR supports programmable spot output for displaying a selected camera feed on a separate monitor, useful in retail or reception areas.

Frequently Asked

Can I add more cameras later?

Yes. The 4-channel DVR supports up to four cameras total. This kit includes two, leaving capacity to add two more ESP HD+ bullet or dome cameras without replacing the recorder. Additional cameras must be 4MP compatible.

How is the system viewed remotely?

Remote viewing works via the ESP HDview smartphone app (iOS and Android) or the included CMS software for Windows PC. The DVR connects to your router via ethernet cable or a PowerLine adapter, then the app or software accesses the feed over your internet connection.

What range does the night vision cover?

The infrared night vision on each bullet camera reaches approximately 25m in complete darkness. Actual range depends on ambient light, camera angle and the reflectivity of surfaces in view.

How long does 500GB record for?

Recording duration depends on resolution, frame rate, motion activity and compression settings. With two cameras recording continuously at 4MP, expect approximately 2-4 weeks of storage. Motion-triggered recording extends this significantly.
