Description

The ESP Digivew HD+ is a 4MP CCTV kit built around a 4-channel DVR with a pre-installed 500GB surveillance-grade hard drive, two weatherproof bullet cameras and a single-source power supply for the entire system. Each camera captures 4MP resolution footage day and night, with infrared LEDs providing up to 25m night vision. The DVR records continuously, on schedule or triggered by motion, and streams footage to smartphones via the ESP HDview app.

Designed for residential and small commercial properties, the kit covers up to two zones out of the box and supports expansion to four cameras without replacing the DVR. The bullet cameras carry IP66 weatherproofing, making them suitable for external mounting on walls, eaves and gatepost positions exposed to rain. Each camera uses a fixed 3.6mm lens that provides a wide field of view across driveways, front doors and garden perimeters.

The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output and operates silently without fan noise, making it suitable for installation in hallway cupboards, under-stair spaces and home offices. Footage is backed up via USB for evidence transfer, and the system supports remote monitoring over wired Ethernet or via a PowerLine adapter where running cable is impractical. The included CMS software allows PC-based remote viewing across multiple sites.

Each camera is powered from the central 12V supply unit, eliminating the need for individual plug sockets at each camera position. The DVR's mouse-driven interface handles camera setup, recording schedules, motion zones and playback without requiring app access for initial configuration.

Yes. The 4-channel DVR supports up to four cameras in total. Additional compatible bullet or dome cameras from the ESP Digivew HD+ range can be added without replacing the recorder.

How is footage accessed remotely?

The ESP HDview app for iOS and Android provides live viewing and playback over the internet. The DVR must be connected to a router via Ethernet cable or PowerLine adapter. The included CMS software also allows remote viewing from a PC.

What night vision range do the cameras provide?

Each bullet camera has infrared LEDs rated for up to 25m night vision range in total darkness. Actual range depends on ambient light levels and the reflectivity of surfaces within the camera's field of view.
