The ESP Digivew HD+ is a complete 4-channel CCTV system pairing a 4MP-capable DVR with two weatherproof bullet cameras, a pre-installed 1TB surveillance-grade hard drive, all necessary cabling and a system power supply. The DVR records at 4 megapixel resolution from all connected cameras simultaneously and supports adding up to two additional cameras to fill the four available channels.

Designed for small commercial premises, residential properties and outbuildings requiring 24-hour recording, the system provides continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes. Remote viewing works through the ESP HDview smartphone app (iOS and Android) or the included CMS software for PC-based monitoring over wired network or PowerLine adapters. The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA outputs, and recordings can be transferred to USB for evidence backup or archiving.

Each of the two included bullet cameras carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, making them suitable for external mounting on walls, soffits or gables. The cameras use a fixed 3.6mm lens providing approximately 80° horizontal field of view, with infrared LEDs offering night vision up to 25m in complete darkness. The grey finish on both cameras and DVR provides a neutral appearance that blends with most building exteriors and avoids the stark contrast of white housings against brick or render.

The 1TB surveillance-grade hard drive is optimised for continuous write cycles rather than standard desktop use, extending reliability under constant recording. The DVR operates silently with passive cooling, avoiding fan noise in occupied rooms. The mouse-driven interface allows configuration of recording schedules, motion detection zones, camera labels and remote access settings without requiring command-line programming.

Can additional cameras be added to the system?

Yes. The DVR is a 4-channel model and ships with two cameras installed, leaving two available channels. Compatible ESP bullet or dome cameras can be added to fill the remaining inputs. All four cameras can record simultaneously at 4MP resolution.

What's the night vision range?

The included bullet cameras provide infrared night vision up to 25m in complete darkness. The infrared LEDs activate automatically when ambient light falls below a set threshold, switching the camera to monochrome mode for clearer low-light imaging.

How is remote viewing configured?

Remote viewing requires the DVR to be connected to your network via Ethernet cable. Once connected, the ESP HDview app (available for iOS and Android) or the included CMS software for Windows allows viewing of live feeds and recorded footage from outside the local network. The DVR's interface includes a guided setup for port forwarding or cloud connection depending on your router configuration.

What hard drive capacity options are available?

This model ships with a 1TB surveillance-grade drive pre-installed. ESP also offers the same system with 500GB, 2TB, 4TB or 8TB capacities under different SKUs. Recording duration depends on resolution settings, frame rate and motion activity, but 1TB typically provides 7-14 days of continuous 4MP recording from two cameras.
