Description

The ESP SHDVC36FDG is a 4MP AHD dome camera with a 3.6mm fixed lens delivering a 76° viewing angle, housed in a grey metal IP66-rated weatherproof dome. The camera carries a 4-megapixel sensor providing 2560 x 1440 resolution on compatible AHD DVR systems, with built-in infrared LED illumination giving up to 25m night vision range in complete darkness.

Designed for residential, commercial and industrial CCTV installation on external walls, soffits and ceilings, the dome housing suits direct outdoor mounting without additional enclosures. The IP66 rating provides protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, allowing the camera to remain operational through rain, snow and direct hose-down during cleaning. The metal construction provides impact resistance and deters casual tampering.

The camera incorporates D-WDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range) with ATR (Adaptive Tone Reproduction), balancing exposure in scenes with both bright and shadowed areas — such as doorways backlit by sunlight or car parks with strong overhead lighting. The sensor combines 2D and 3D noise reduction to maintain image clarity in low-light conditions before the infrared LEDs activate. High Light Compensation reduces glare from vehicle headlights and direct light sources without washing out the surrounding image.

The 3.6mm lens provides wide-area coverage suited to monitoring driveways, shop fronts, warehouse entrances and building perimeters where identifying faces and number plates within 8-12m is required. The dome base is 118mm wide and projects 127mm from the mounting surface once installed, fitting standard junction boxes or direct to brick, block and timber surfaces using the included fixings.
