Description

The Energizer Vision is a 1250-lumen rechargeable lantern with 360° output, built-in USB charging for the internal battery, and a fallback 4 AA battery compartment for when mains power is unavailable. The lantern head houses multiple LEDs arranged in a ring to cast light evenly in all directions, and the unit includes a dimmer to reduce output from full brightness down to a low night-light mode.

Designed for camping, power outages, workshop tasks and garage use, the lantern runs on its internal rechargeable battery when charged via the built-in USB port, or switches to 4 AA batteries (not included) when the internal battery is depleted or unavailable. The USB port also functions as an output, allowing the lantern to charge mobile devices from its internal battery reserve during off-grid use or emergencies.

The non-slip rubberised handle provides a secure grip when carrying the lantern between rooms or across campsites, and the flat base allows the unit to sit stable on worktops, tables and uneven ground without tipping. The turquoise and white body measures approximately 190mm tall and 150mm diameter at the base, with a toughened polycarbonate lens protecting the LED array. The dimming function extends runtime on lower settings, while the night-light mode provides diffused ambient light for tents, hallways or bedrooms without full brightness.

Frequently Asked

How is the lantern powered?

The lantern has two power options: an internal rechargeable battery charged via the built-in USB port, or 4 AA batteries inserted into the battery compartment. You can switch between the two depending on what power source is available.

Can it charge phones and devices?

Yes. The USB port functions as both an input (to charge the lantern's internal battery) and an output (to charge mobile devices from the lantern's battery reserve). This is useful during power outages or off-grid camping.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime depends on the brightness setting. At full 1250-lumen output the internal battery depletes faster than on dimmed or night-light mode. Energizer does not publish exact runtime figures on the packaging shown, so expect shorter runtime at higher brightness and longer runtime on lower settings.

Is it waterproof?

The packaging does not state an IP rating, so the lantern is not certified waterproof. It can handle light rain and outdoor use in dry or damp conditions, but should not be submerged or left exposed to heavy rain without shelter.
