Description

The Emberlyte is a 30cm spherical glass pendant with a copper metallic finish on the outer surface, housing a single E27 bulb fitting inside the globe. The copper coating gives the glass a warm, reflective tone that shifts between polished rose-gold and deeper amber tones depending on the angle of viewing and the light source used inside.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and bedroom task positions, the Emberlyte works as a single pendant over a breakfast bar or in a cluster of two or three over a dining table. The 2150mm cable length allows adjustment during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, with the pendant typically sitting 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer and dimmable E27 bulb.

The copper finish is applied to the exterior of the glass globe, leaving the interior clear so the bulb itself remains visible through the metallic coating. This creates a decorative filament effect when using vintage-style LED bulbs with exposed elements, or a cleaner diffused glow with frosted E27 LEDs. The IP20 rating confirms indoor-only installation, suitable for dry locations including kitchens and bedrooms but not bathrooms without additional IP protection.
