Description

The Ecliptus is a 36W constant voltage LED driver designed for 24V LED systems, delivering stable power output with dimming capability across a range of compatible dimmers. The driver measures 175mm long by 44mm deep and carries an IP20 rating for indoor use in dry locations such as residential rooms, offices and retail spaces where LED strip lighting or low-voltage LED fixtures are installed.

Used primarily for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, display shelving and architectural LED strip installations, the Ecliptus connects between mains 230V AC supply and the low-voltage 24V DC LED load. The dimming function works with trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers depending on installation, allowing the connected LED strip or fixture to be controlled from a standard wall dimmer switch. Maximum load is 36W, which typically powers 3-5 metres of standard-density 24V LED strip depending on the strip's wattage per metre rating.

The white plastic housing includes knock-out cable entry points at both ends and screw-mounting tabs on the underside, allowing the driver to be fixed inside furniture voids, behind coving, or in ceiling plenums where access for maintenance is possible. The compact 175mm length fits into standard kitchen cabinet spaces and display unit backs without requiring custom cut-outs.
