Description

The Eclipsa is a 150mm square surface-mounted downlight with a white powder-coated metal body and a black internal baffle around the GU10 lamp holder. The fitting projects 150mm from the ceiling and directs light downward through a single GU10 bulb (sold separately), making it a practical choice for rooms where recessed downlights cannot be fitted due to shallow ceiling voids or solid concrete ceilings.

Designed for hallways, kitchens, home offices and utility rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.7m, the Eclipsa provides focused task light without needing to cut into the ceiling structure. The square profile sits flush against the ceiling on a rear mounting plate, with the white finish blending into white or light-coloured ceilings. The downlight is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 LED bulb and a trailing-edge LED dimmer.

The black baffle inside the white cube reduces glare by recessing the bulb approximately 30mm into the housing, so the light source itself is not directly visible from typical standing positions in the room. The 150mm body width provides enough internal volume to accept standard-length GU10 bulbs without the lamp protruding beyond the baffle. The IP20 rating makes this suitable for dry indoor locations only — not bathrooms or outdoor use.
