Description

The Eclipsa is a 90mm surface-mounted downlight with a white cylindrical body and a black inner bezel that frames a single GU10 bulb fitting. The cylinder sits 100mm below the ceiling, directing light downwards through the recessed black aperture while the white outer casing blends into white or light-coloured ceilings.

Designed for rooms where recessed installation is not practical due to shallow ceiling voids or concrete slab construction, the Eclipsa provides downlight functionality without cutting into the ceiling structure. The surface-mount format suits kitchens, hallways, retail spaces, offices and bathrooms (IP20 limits use to zones outside direct water spray). The black inner bezel reduces glare by concealing the bulb from side angles and creates visual depth against the white outer cylinder.

The fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or low-energy bulb up to the maximum wattage specified by Ideal Lux, and is fully dimmable when paired with compatible GU10 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch. The 90mm diameter keeps the fitting compact enough for installation at 600-800mm spacing in corridors or at 1000-1200mm spacing over kitchen worktops and islands.
