Description

The Duna is a 65cm curved suspension light built from four interlocking polished chrome arms, each wrapped in a white opal acrylic diffuser housing a GU10 lamp fitting. The arms curve outward from a central suspension point to form an X-shape when viewed from below, creating a sculptural form that balances geometry with organic flow. The polished chrome finish reflects light across the ceiling plane while the opal acrylic softens and diffuses the output from the four 2700K warm white lamps.

Designed for dining areas, open-plan living spaces and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Duna provides ambient rather than task lighting. The 470-700mm adjustable drop allows the fitting to be positioned 600-800mm above a dining table or lowered further in double-height spaces. The 650mm length suits tables seating four to six people or works as a feature piece above a console table or kitchen island up to 1.5m long. The fitting connects to standard UK ceiling roses and the cable run is concealed within the central suspension rod.

Each of the four arms measures approximately 300mm from the central hub to the outer edge, giving the fitting a presence that works in rooms with floor areas of 12-20m². The combination of reflective chrome and diffused white light creates contrast between sharp metallic edges and soft glowing surfaces. At 3.4kg the fitting requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting sustained weight, and the polished chrome surface benefits from periodic cleaning with a soft microfibre cloth to maintain the mirror finish.
