Description

The Duceri is a non-maintained LED emergency twin spot with two independently-adjustable 2W LED heads mounted on a white polycarbonate housing. Each head houses three SMD 2835 LEDs delivering a combined 272 lumens of cool 5500K emergency light, powered by a 3.6V 1800mAh nickel-cadmium battery that provides three hours of continuous illumination during a mains failure.

Designed for wall-mounting in commercial, retail, office and public buildings where emergency egress lighting is required under BS EN 60598-2-22 standards, the twin-spot configuration allows both heads to be aimed at different exit routes or critical areas. The non-maintained mode means the LEDs remain off during normal mains operation and activate only when mains power fails, making the unit suitable for environments where dedicated emergency-only lighting is preferred over dual-function fittings. A green LED indicator on the housing confirms the battery is charging and the unit is operational.

The polycarbonate housing measures 273mm wide by 260mm high with a 60mm projection from the wall, giving a compact footprint that sits above doorways or on corridor walls without protruding into walkways. Each LED head rotates on its bracket to direct light across stairwells, along corridors or onto signage. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations. Charge and discharge protection circuitry prevents battery degradation from overcharging and extends the operational lifespan of the nickel-cadmium cell.
