Description
The Duceri D130AWH is a 3W LED maintained emergency exit sign supplied with four interchangeable directional legends showing up, down, left and right arrows. The fitting runs continuously on mains power and switches to an internal lithium battery during power failure, providing emergency egress lighting for a minimum of three hours. The white thermoplastic housing measures 335mm wide by 245mm high and mounts directly onto walls or ceilings in commercial, educational and public buildings.
Designed for corridor exits, stairwell landings, fire door positions and final exit routes where building regulations require illuminated emergency signage, the fitting operates in maintained mode meaning the LED remains lit during normal operation and during power cuts. The four supplied legend plates clip into place behind the diffuser panel, allowing installers to select the correct directional arrow for each location without needing separate fittings for each orientation.
The 3W LED provides uniform illumination across the green and white legend surface at a brightness compliant with BS 5266 and BS EN 60598 emergency lighting standards. The IP20 rating suits internal dry locations including offices, schools, hotels, retail units and healthcare facilities. The lithium battery technology provides a longer service life than traditional nickel-cadmium cells and requires less frequent replacement, reducing whole-life maintenance costs. The fitting includes a test button and charge indicator LED on the front panel for monthly function testing.

Frequently Asked
What is the difference between maintained and non-maintained emergency lighting?
Maintained emergency lights remain illuminated continuously on mains power and during power failure. Non-maintained emergency lights only illuminate when mains power is lost. This Duceri fitting operates in maintained mode, making it suitable for locations where the exit sign needs to be visible at all times.
How long does the battery last during a power cut?
The internal lithium battery provides a minimum of three hours of emergency illumination when mains power is lost, meeting the standard duration requirement for most commercial building regulations.
How do I change the directional arrow?
The fitting is supplied with four legend plates showing up, down, left and right directional arrows. To change the legend, open the front diffuser panel and swap the legend plate for the required direction. Installation instructions are included in the product manual linked above.
Does the fitting need to be tested?
Yes. Building regulations require monthly function tests of emergency lighting. The Duceri includes a test button and charge indicator LED on the front panel to facilitate these checks. Press the test button to simulate a power failure and verify the LED illuminates on battery power.
