Description

The Duceri is a 3W LED emergency exit sign with a right-pointing arrow legend, displaying the standard green running man and arrow pictogram on a polycarbonate backlit panel. The sign operates in maintained mode, meaning the LED legend remains illuminated continuously on mains power and switches to internal battery backup during power failures. The SMD 3528 LED array produces cool 5500K light visible from 24 metres, meeting BS EN 60598-2-22 standards for emergency lighting in commercial and public buildings.

Designed for wall or ceiling mounting above exit routes, corridor junctions and stairwell doors, the Duceri guides building occupants towards the nearest right-hand exit during both normal operation and emergency evacuations. The 190mm x 300mm legend size suits standard UK signage requirements for buildings with escape routes up to 24 metres long. The polycarbonate frame withstands impacts better than acrylic alternatives and the integral mounting bracket allows the sign to be fitted horizontally on a wall or suspended from a ceiling rose.

In maintained mode the LED legend stays lit continuously on mains power, providing both directional signage during normal operation and emergency lighting during power failures. The internal battery activates automatically when mains power is lost, keeping the sign illuminated for three hours.

How far can the sign be seen from?

The 190mm x 300mm legend has a 24-metre maximum viewing distance in clear corridor conditions. This suits most commercial, retail and office escape routes where the sign needs to be visible from the far end of a corridor or across a large open-plan space.

Can it be mounted on a ceiling?

Yes. The integral mounting bracket allows the sign to be wall-mounted horizontally or suspended from a ceiling rose. When ceiling-mounted the sign typically hangs perpendicular to the floor, with the arrow pointing horizontally towards the exit route.

The battery charges continuously when the sign is connected to mains power.
