Description

The Duceri is a 3W LED emergency exit sign built into a black steel box housing, displaying a green running-man pictogram with a left-pointing arrow. The sign operates in maintained mode, meaning the LEDs are permanently on during normal mains operation and switch to battery backup automatically during a power cut. An internal 3.6V 1500mAh Ni-Cd battery provides 3 hours of emergency illumination when mains power fails.

Designed for commercial buildings, offices, retail units, hotels and public buildings where Building Regulations Part B requires illuminated emergency exit signage, the Duceri is wall-mounted and visible from up to 25 metres in typical corridor and open-plan conditions. The left arrow legend directs occupants towards the nearest fire exit or escape route to the left of the sign. A green LED indicator on the front panel confirms that the battery is charged and the sign is functional.

The steel housing measures 390 x 190 x 60mm and weighs 1.3kg, giving the sign a robust presence suitable for high-footfall environments. The sign is certified to BS EN 60598-2-22, the British and European standard for emergency lighting luminaires. Built-in charge and discharge protection prevents battery over-charging and extends service life. The 5500K colour temperature of the SMD 2835 LEDs produces a daylight-white illumination that maintains visibility under smoke or low-light conditions.
