Description
The Duceri is a 360mm LED emergency bulkhead rated IP65, carrying a 3W LED module and a lithium battery backup for maintained emergency lighting installations. The self-test function runs automatic battery and lamp checks at intervals, reducing manual testing requirements in commercial and industrial premises. The white polycarbonate body and ribbed diffuser give vandal-resistant protection to the LED array and internal components.
Designed for corridors, stairwells, car parks, loading bays, storage areas and external covered walkways, the Duceri runs continuously in maintained mode, switching to battery power during mains failure. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for damp locations, outdoor covered areas and zones requiring wash-down cleaning. The 360mm × 118mm footprint suits single or twin-row installation along corridor ceilings or wall mounting where headroom is limited.
The ribbed polycarbonate diffuser spreads light across a wide beam angle, minimising dark spots in escape routes. The lithium battery charges while the mains supply is active and provides emergency illumination for the duration specified in the manual. The self-test circuitry logs test results internally, with LED indicators on the fitting showing pass/fail status. The white finish matches most ceiling and wall surfaces in industrial and commercial interiors, reducing visual intrusion.

Frequently Asked
What does self-test mean?
The self-test function runs automatic checks of the battery charge level and LED function at programmed intervals. Results are logged internally and indicated by LEDs on the fitting, reducing the need for manual testing schedules in compliance with emergency lighting regulations.
What is maintained mode?
Maintained mode means the LED runs continuously when mains power is available, acting as normal lighting. During a mains failure the fitting switches to battery power and continues to provide illumination. This differs from non-maintained mode, where the LED only activates during mains failure.
Can it be used outdoors?
The IP65 rating protects against water jets and dust, making the Duceri suitable for outdoor covered areas such as canopies, loading bays and entrance alcoves. It is not rated for full exposure to rain or submersion.
How long does the battery last during mains failure?
The battery duration depends on the specific model variant and is detailed in the product manual linked above. Lithium emergency lighting batteries typically provide 3 hours of illumination, meeting standard UK emergency lighting requirements.
