The DVR records up to eight cameras simultaneously at 4MP resolution and supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes.

Designed for residential and small commercial premises requiring perimeter coverage, the kit suits properties with four entry points, parking areas or garden boundaries needing monitoring. The four dome cameras carry IP66 weatherproof ratings for outdoor installation, with infrared rings providing night vision in low-light conditions. The 3.6mm fixed lens on each camera gives a field of view suitable for monitoring doorways, driveways and building facades at ranges up to 20-25m.

The DVR connects to a monitor via HDMI or VGA output, with playback and configuration controlled through the included mouse interface. Remote monitoring is available via the ESP mobile app for Android and iOS, or through the included CMS software for PC viewing over a wired network connection. Recorded footage can be backed up to USB for evidence transfer. Can the system be expanded beyond four cameras?

Yes. The DVR is an 8-channel unit, so it supports up to eight cameras in total. You would need to purchase four additional compatible cameras and cable runs separately. The 8TB hard drive capacity accommodates the additional cameras, though recording duration per camera reduces as more cameras are added.

What recording time does the 8TB hard drive provide?

With all four cameras recording continuously at 4MP resolution, the 8TB drive stores approximately 30-45 days of footage depending on scene activity and compression settings. Motion-triggered recording extends this significantly. The DVR overwrites the oldest footage automatically when the drive reaches capacity.

Are the cameras suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes. The dome cameras carry IP66 weatherproof ratings, meaning they resist water ingress from heavy rain and can be mounted outdoors on building exteriors, soffits or walls. The infrared LED rings provide night vision in total darkness up to approximately 20m range.

How is remote monitoring set up?
