Description

This ESP deep camera junction box is a grey metal mounting base designed for ESP HDview 4-megapixel CCTV cameras, measuring 112.5mm diameter by 50mm depth. The box carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, allowing installation on external walls, soffits and posts where the camera cable needs to be concealed and protected from rain ingress.

The junction box fits beneath the camera housing to hide cable connections and provide a secure fixing point for surface-mounted installations. The 25mm cable entry accepts standard CCTV camera cable glands or conduit, routing the power and data cables into the box where they connect to the camera's pigtail before the camera is fixed on top. The grey powder-coated metal finish matches ESP's grey camera housings and weathers without rusting when installed outdoors.

Compatible ESP camera models include the SHDVC36FBG (3.6mm fixed lens), SHDVC2812VFBG (2.8-12mm varifocal lens) and SHDVC36FDG (3.6mm fixed dome). The 50mm depth provides clearance for cable connections and allows some slack cable to be stored inside the box, reducing strain on the connectors. The box fixes to the mounting surface via screw holes on the base, with the camera then mounted to the top of the box using the camera's existing fixing points.
