Description

The Dee is a single GU10 spotlight with a brushed chrome aluminium body, measuring 60mm diameter with an 88mm projection from the ceiling. The cylindrical head tilts and rotates on a pivoting joint, allowing the beam to be directed across walls, onto artwork, or down onto task surfaces. The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling via rear cable entry and fixes with a single screw point.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, home offices and retail spaces where directed accent or task lighting is needed without a full track system, the Dee pairs with any standard GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately). The brushed chrome finish on the aluminium body provides a neutral metallic accent that suits both modern and transitional interiors, and the low-profile 60mm diameter keeps the fitting compact on standard UK ceiling heights.

The Class I rating requires an earth connection during installation. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only. A tool-free cable connector is included in the box for mains wiring, and the pivoting head mechanism uses a friction-locked joint that holds position once set without requiring additional tightening. The Dee range is also available in matt white and matt black finishes, and as a twin-head variant for wider coverage.

The Dee takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W maximum wattage. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 4-7W at 3000K or 4000K depending on whether warm or cool white light is preferred.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you fit a dimmable GU10 LED and pair it with a compatible LED dimmer, the spotlight will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.

Can the head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cylindrical head tilts and rotates on a friction-locked pivoting joint. Once the spotlight is powered and mounted, you can adjust the beam direction by hand and the head will hold that position without requiring tools or additional tightening.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Dee is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathrooms, shower rooms, or any location where it may be exposed to moisture or direct water contact.
