Description

The Dawn is a 185mm square semi-flush ceiling light combining a brass geometric frame with a matt black canopy and a central opal glass globe. The open brass cube frame sits flush to the ceiling via the black mounting plate, positioning the frosted glass sphere at the centre of the frame. A single E14 bulb (sold separately) inside the globe diffuses light through the glass in all directions, with the brass frame creating subtle geometric shadows on the ceiling surface.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and bathrooms (IP20 rating limits use to zones outside splash areas), the Dawn suits ceiling heights of 2.2m-2.5m where a pendant drop would sit too low. The 185mm projection from ceiling to base of globe makes this a practical choice for low ceilings or spaces where head clearance is a concern. The semi-flush mounting keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane while the open frame prevents the light feeling boxed-in.

The brass frame uses hollow tube construction, keeping the overall weight low while maintaining the visual presence of solid brass detailing. The opal glass globe measures approximately 120mm in diameter and provides full 360-degree diffusion, removing the hard shadows that directional downlights create.
