Description

The Daley is a 9 light chandelier built around six hand-blown amber glass lanterns arranged on scrolled brass arms, with a central pierced brass dome housing three additional lights. Each outer lantern hangs from a brass scroll terminating in a black silk tassel, and the central dome is crowned with a decorative brass finial. The 750mm diameter and 800mm drop suit rooms with ceiling heights above 2.6m.

Designed for dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and grand living spaces where a statement ceiling piece is needed, the Daley combines decorative presence with functional nine-point illumination. Each of the nine lights takes an E27 bulb (sold separately), allowing the total output to be tailored by bulb choice and controlled via dimmer switch. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry internal spaces away from bathrooms and outdoor areas.

The brass framework shows a low-sheen antique finish with visible hand-worked detailing on the pierced central dome, which creates decorative shadow patterns when lit. The hand-blown glass lanterns vary slightly in amber tone and clarity between individual pieces, a characteristic of mouth-blown production. The black silk tassels hanging beneath each outer lantern add vertical movement and textile contrast against the metal and glass.
