Description

The Crest is a single adjustable spotlight with a polished chrome cylindrical head mounted on a circular chrome backplate. The spotlight head tilts and rotates on a ball joint, allowing the GU10 bulb (sold separately) to be directed at walls, shelving, artwork or architectural features. The 60mm width and 100mm projection keep the fitting compact enough for narrow hallways, alcoves and low-ceiling spaces.

Designed for accent and task lighting rather than ambient illumination, the Crest suits kitchens where worktop lighting is needed without overhead pendants, hallways where pictures or mirrors need directed light, and living rooms where adjustable spotlights highlight specific areas. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. The fitting accepts standard GU10 LED or halogen bulbs up to 50W and is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb.

The polished chrome finish provides a bright, reflective surface that works across contemporary, industrial and transitional interiors. The metal construction of both the backplate and spotlight head gives the fitting durability in high-traffic domestic and commercial settings. Multiple Crest spotlights can be spaced along a wall to create a row of adjustable accent lights without the visual bulk of a continuous track or bar fitting.

The Crest takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 4-6W in either warm white (2700K-3000K) or cool white (4000K) depending on the room function.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with a dimmable GU10 bulb and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will work on the circuit but cannot be dimmed.

Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head tilts and rotates on a ball joint, allowing the beam to be redirected without re-wiring or moving the backplate. This makes it useful for highlighting different areas as room layouts change.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor spaces. For bathroom use, choose a spotlight with IP44 or higher rating.
