Description

The Cordaro is a 7 light suspension built around a single arcing band of black leather, from which seven clear crystal glass globes are suspended in a shallow curve. Each globe houses an integrated 21.5W MCOB LED running at 3000K warm white, with the light source visible inside the glass so the globes themselves read as the focal element. The fitting drops to 120cm overall and measures 22cm in diameter at the canopy.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, and open-plan rooms with linear layouts, the Cordaro suits ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher to allow the full 120cm drop without crowding the head height beneath. The shallow arc of the leather strap means the seven globes do not sit on a single horizontal line — the centre globes hang lower than the outer two, giving a graduated spread of light along the length of a table or run of worktop.

The black leather strap is the structural element rather than a decorative wrap: it carries the wiring run between globes and supports the 8kg total weight from a single ceiling canopy. The crystal glass globes vary slightly in form, with some appearing more spherical and others flatter and more pebble-like, which breaks up the symmetry that a uniform globe array would produce.
