Description

The Cobson is a single-light wall fitting with a 203mm diameter bell shade in natural brass, mounted on an adjustable arm that allows the shade to be angled up or down. The shade houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and the arm connects to a stepped circular backplate in matching natural brass. A graphite-finished socket holder and pivoting joint between arm and shade provide contrast to the warm brass metalwork.

Designed for bedside reading, hallway accent lighting, and kitchen task positions where light needs to be directed onto a worktop or sink, the Cobson pairs functional positioning with retro-industrial styling. The adjustable arm extends 246mm from the wall at full projection and the shade can be tilted through approximately 90 degrees, allowing light to be aimed at a headboard, down onto a work surface, or outward to wash a hallway wall.

The natural brass finish is unlacquered and will develop a patina over time as the metal oxidises, deepening the tone and adding variation to the surface. The 203mm bell shade casts a focused pool of light downward or outward depending on angle, with minimal spill light, making it suitable for positions where glare needs to be controlled. The fitting weighs approximately 0.8kg and mounts to a standard UK junction box on brick, plaster or timber stud walls.
