Description
The Clarityx is a 61cm linear LED wall light built around a matt black metal profile housing an integrated 37W LED strip rated at 4000K. The 90mm projection from the wall puts the light source forward of the mounting surface, directing output both up and down the wall in a wash pattern while providing forward-facing task light. The fitting suits applications where neutral white light is required for working environments rather than ambient warmth.
Designed for office corridors, workrooms, industrial-style interiors and residential hallways where high-output task lighting is needed, the Clarityx fits onto standard wall-mounted back plates with concealed cable entry. The 61cm length covers approximately half the width of a typical single door frame or provides continuous light along a narrow corridor section when multiple units are run in sequence. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installation.
The matt black finish gives a low-glare surface that reduces reflections under daylight and pairs with minimalist, industrial and contemporary interiors. The metal construction provides rigidity across the 61cm span without visible sag when wall-mounted, and the integrated LED eliminates the need for bulb replacement over the fitting's working life. At 4000K the output sits in the neutral white band, cooler than typical residential warm white but warmer than clinical daylight LEDs.
The Clarityx is non-dimmable and operates on 230V mains. The integrated LED is fixed and cannot be user-replaced, so when the LED reaches end-of-life the entire fitting is replaced. Ideal Lux covers the fitting and integrated LED under a 5-year warranty from date of purchase.

Frequently Asked
Is the Clarityx dimmable?
No. The integrated LED operates at fixed brightness on 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches or trailing-edge dimmers.
Can the LED be replaced when it fails?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be user-replaced. When the LED reaches end-of-life the entire fitting is replaced. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure within that period.
What's the difference between 4000K and 3000K?
4000K is neutral white, appearing cooler and more clinical than the warm white of 3000K domestic bulbs. 4000K suits offices, workshops and task-focused environments where clarity is prioritised over ambient warmth.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no moisture protection and must only be installed in dry indoor rooms. For bathrooms you need a minimum IP44 rating.
