Description
The Clarityx is a 110cm linear LED wall light with an integrated 37W LED module emitting 4000K neutral white light through a matt black aluminium housing. The light bar projects 90mm from the wall and provides even, shadow-free illumination along its 1.1m length, making it suited to corridor runs, above bathroom mirrors, or as task lighting above kitchen worktops and home office desks.
Designed for installation in living rooms, hallways, offices and retail interiors, the Clarityx delivers functional linear light without requiring separate bulbs or tubes. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white (2700-3000K) and cool white (5000K+), providing clarity for task work without the clinical feel of daylight LEDs. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms with bath or shower zones, or outdoor applications.
The matt black aluminium body measures 1100mm × 90mm × 40mm (length × projection × height) and weighs approximately 1.2kg once fitted. The finish is a low-sheen powder coat that minimises reflections and pairs with black window frames, door hardware and contemporary metalwork in minimal interiors. The LED module is non-dimmable and fixed at 37W output, so the light level cannot be adjusted once installed.
Ideal Lux manufactures the Clarityx in Italy and backs it with a 5-year warranty covering the LED module and housing. The fitting mounts horizontally to a wall surface using two concealed fixings behind the end caps, with cable entry through the rear of the housing.

Frequently Asked
Can the Clarityx be dimmed?
No. The integrated LED module is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed 37W output. Wiring it to a dimmer switch will not change the light level and may damage the driver circuitry.
What colour temperature is 4000K?
4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700-3000K) and cool white (5000K+). It provides clear, functional light without the yellow cast of warmer LEDs or the blue-tinged brightness of daylight LEDs, making it popular in offices, kitchens and bathrooms where task clarity matters.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The IP20 rating means the Clarityx is not protected against moisture ingress and must not be installed in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2 (near baths, showers, or within splashing distance of water). It can be used in a bathroom outside these zones, such as above a vanity mirror in a separate powder room with no bath or shower.
How is it mounted?
The Clarityx mounts horizontally to a wall surface using two concealed fixings behind the end caps. The cable enters through the rear of the housing and connects to the mains via a junction box or ceiling rose behind the wall. Professional installation is recommended to ensure the housing is level and the cable run is concealed.
