Description

The Cello is a 3-light chandelier built on a central column of scrolled metalwork in an antique bronze finish, with three curved upright arms supporting bell-shaped faux alabaster glass shades. Each arm bows outward from the central stem before curving back inward to hold the shade holders at a consistent height, creating a balanced silhouette when viewed from below. The fitting stands 533mm tall from canopy to base, with a diameter of 571mm across the three glass shades.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Cello provides directed downward light from three E27 bulbs (sold separately, up to 60W each). The adjustable chain allows installation at a minimum drop of 653mm or extended to 2178mm depending on ceiling height and desired placement above the table or floor surface. The faux alabaster glass diffuses light evenly while the antique bronze metalwork adds warm tonal contrast against white or neutral ceilings.

The scrollwork detail on the central column and the bowed uprights gives the fitting a traditional American aesthetic, typical of Hinkley's residential collections. The antique bronze finish is a dark brown-bronze tone with subtle tonal variation across the surface, which shows differently under daylight and artificial light. The glass shades taper from a 180mm diameter at the rim to a narrower base, directing light downward rather than out to the sides.
