Description

The Bucle is a 525mm LED wall light built around two continuous metal loops that cross and interweave in a sculptural figure-of-eight form. One loop is finished in polished chrome, the other in matte white, and an integrated 20W LED strip runs through the length of both, producing 1750 lumens of warm 3000K light that reflects off the chrome and diffuses through the white sections.

Designed as both ambient and accent lighting, the Bucle suits hallways, staircases, living room feature walls and contemporary bedroom spaces where ceiling heights allow for horizontal fittings. The 525mm width spans enough wall area to act as a statement piece without dominating smaller rooms. The looped form creates visual rhythm when two or more are installed in a sequence along a corridor or above a sideboard. The fitting mounts on a rectangular polished chrome backplate measuring 120mm deep, fixing to the wall via standard screws into a concealed mounting bracket.

The combination of polished chrome and matte white gives the Bucle a dual-tone appearance that reads differently depending on viewing angle and ambient light conditions. Under daylight the chrome loop appears highly reflective and distinct from the softer white loop; under evening artificial light the LED glow reduces the contrast and the two loops blend into a continuous light ribbon. The 20W LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of use and runs on universal 100-240V input, requiring no external driver or transformer.

No. The integrated 20W LED runs at fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The fitting operates at full 1750lm brightness whenever switched on.

Can it be mounted vertically?

The Bucle is designed for horizontal wall mounting with the loops running parallel to the floor. Vertical installation would alter the visual balance of the figure-of-eight form and is not recommended by the manufacturer.

What wall clearance does it need?

The fitting projects 95mm from the wall at its deepest point where the loops cross. Allow at least 120mm clearance from adjacent furniture, door frames or corners to avoid obstruction and ensure the full sculptural form is visible.

Does it require an external driver?

No. The LED driver is built into the fitting and runs on universal 100-240V mains input. Only standard mains wiring is required, with no separate transformer or control box needed.
