Description

The Brillia Electric is a 3-phase track connector for linking sections of track lighting rail, allowing continuous power distribution across multiple track sections within a single lighting circuit. Measuring 68mm long with a 21mm projection from the track surface, the connector slots into the channel of standard 3-phase track and locks into place using spring-loaded contacts that engage all three live phases plus neutral and earth.

Designed for retail, office, gallery and showroom installations where track lighting runs extend beyond the length of a single rail section, the connector provides a mechanical and electrical join between two track sections. The 860mm cable tail exiting the connector allows it to be wired into a junction box or connected to mains supply where the track run begins, while the body itself sits within the track channel to maintain a flush profile along the rail.

The black polycarbonate housing matches black-finished track systems and is rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use only. The connector is not dimmable in itself but passes through dimming signals if the circuit is controlled by a compatible dimmer upstream. Spring contacts inside the housing grip the track rail's conductive strips, so no tools are required to fit the connector once the track is installed and the cable is wired to mains.

Frequently Asked

What is this connector used for?

It joins two sections of 3-phase track lighting rail, providing both mechanical support and electrical continuity across the join. This allows track runs to extend beyond the length of a single rail section without breaking the circuit.

Does it work with all track systems?

It is designed for standard 3-phase track rail systems. Confirm the track profile matches before ordering, as single-phase and proprietary track systems use different connector types.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means it is suitable only for indoor dry locations. Do not use in bathrooms, outdoor canopies, or any area exposed to moisture or condensation.

How is it installed?

The 860mm cable tail is wired to mains supply or a junction box by a qualified electrician. The connector body then slots into the track channel and locks into place using internal spring contacts. No tools are needed to attach the connector to the track itself once the cable is wired.
