Brillia 3-Phase Trim Profile Recessed Track 2m - Black

The Brillia is a 2m recessed 3-phase track system with a black trim profile and a 56mm ceiling projection. The track is cut into the ceiling plasterboard and plastered up to the trim edge, leaving only the narrow black lip visible below ceiling level. This gives a cleaner, more architectural finish than surface-mounted track systems, with the track itself recessed into the ceiling void.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential spaces where adjustable spotlighting is needed without visible surface-mounted hardware, the track accepts Ideal Lux 3-phase track heads that clip onto the three live rails inside the channel. The 3-phase circuit arrangement allows lights on the same track to be switched in three separate groups, enabling zone control without needing multiple separate tracks. The 2m length can be joined end-to-end with other Brillia sections using connector accessories to create longer runs.

The metal channel is finished in matt black, and the recessed installation means the track reads as a shadow line rather than a visible fixture when viewed from below. The IP20 rating limits the track to dry indoor environments, and the system is non-dimmable as supplied, though individual track heads may support dimming depending on their lamp and driver specification. The 56mm projection depth requires a minimum ceiling void of 60-70mm for safe installation and heat dissipation.

How does 3-phase switching work?
