Description

The Brick is an 18cm outdoor LED wall light with an integrated 10W 3000K LED housed in a graphite-finished aluminium body with a white plastic diffuser. The rectangular form measures 18cm wide by 9cm high by 9cm deep, projecting a directional panel of warm white light from the diffuser face. IP54 rating protects the internal LED against rain, dust and moisture, making the fitting suitable for uncovered exterior walls, porches and walkways.

Designed for residential and commercial exterior lighting, the Brick can be mounted horizontally or vertically depending on the wall space and the desired light spread. Horizontal mounting gives a wider wash across the wall surface, while vertical mounting narrows the beam and can highlight architectural features or doorways. The fitting requires mains 100-240V AC connection through standard exterior wiring and fits most UK outdoor junction boxes.

The graphite finish is a dark grey powder coat applied to the aluminium body, resisting corrosion and UV fade better than painted finishes on lower-grade metals. The white plastic diffuser softens the LED output and prevents glare when viewed directly from the side. At 10W the light output is sufficient for pathway illumination, entrance lighting and decorative accent on exterior walls without over-lighting smaller residential facades.

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. It can be installed on exterior walls, porches and covered or uncovered positions where it may be exposed to rain, but is not submersible and should not be installed in areas subject to direct water jets or flooding.

Can the Brick be mounted horizontally and vertically?

Yes. The fitting can be installed in either orientation. Horizontal mounting spreads the light wider across the wall, while vertical mounting creates a narrower beam that can highlight door frames or architectural details.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, which equates to approximately 10-15 years of typical evening use. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED produces warm white light at 3000K, which appears as a soft yellow-white similar to a traditional halogen or incandescent bulb. This colour temperature suits residential exteriors and creates a welcoming appearance at entrances and pathways.
