Description

The Bremen is a 280mm round outdoor wall light built from galvanised steel with an opal glass diffuser, carrying an IP54 rating against dust and water ingress. The design references porthole forms, with a circular steel frame holding the frosted glass dome and two horizontal steel bars crossing the face. A 10-15mm gap between the glass dome and the steel backplate creates a halo of light that outlines the circular form when the bulb is lit.

Designed for exterior walls on coastal and modern properties, the Bremen fits porch areas, side-of-garage positions, courtyard walls and alongside front doors where a bulkhead would be too industrial. The IP54 rating makes it suitable for positions with overhead shelter or angled away from direct rainfall, but not for fully exposed positions without eaves or canopy cover. The galvanised steel finish provides corrosion resistance in salt air and damp climates.

The fitting takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose warm-white, daylight or amber-tone LED depending on the surrounding wall colour and desired light temperature.
