Description

The Brass is a 155mm square recessed ground light designed for flush installation in outdoor pathways, driveways and garden borders. The resin body and IP67-rated sealed enclosure protect the internal components against temporary submersion and driven rain, allowing the fitting to be installed in areas subject to surface water or heavy weather exposure.

Suited to path edging, driveway markers and patio borders where low-level accent lighting is needed without above-ground fittings, the Brass installs into a cutout in the ground surface and sits flush with paving, gravel or resin-bound surfacing. The 155mm square faceplate distributes foot traffic and light vehicle loads across the surrounding material rather than concentrating weight onto the fitting itself. The grey finish on the visible faceplate blends into concrete, stone and dark aggregate surfaces.

The fitting takes a single GX53 bulb (sold separately) and supports dimming when paired with a compatible GX53 LED and dimmer circuit. The GX53 base is a low-profile twist-and-lock format commonly used in recessed lighting where depth is limited. Most GX53 LED bulbs run at 5-9W and provide 400-800 lumens depending on the specific model chosen, giving enough output to mark edges and steps without creating glare at ground level.
