Description
The Bradbury is a 636mm diameter chandelier with five E14 candle fittings arranged around a fluted steel frame finished in antique white. The frame forms a sphere built from curved metal bands that arch from the central hub to create an open, globe-like silhouette. Each of the five arms extends from the horizontal equator band to hold a shallow candle cup and exposed bulb.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Bradbury provides decorative and ambient lighting across a 3-4m table or a 4x4m floor area. The 1219mm chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 688mm minimum and 3166mm maximum on installation, giving flexibility to suit different ceiling heights. The chandelier fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain conceals the cable run.
The antique white finish has a soft, aged appearance with subtle tonal variation across the metalwork, giving the frame a worn, vintage character rather than a flat painted look. The fluted bands add texture and shadow detail to the sphere structure, particularly when the chandelier is lit from within by the five bulbs. At 636mm wide and approximately 608mm tall (before chain), the Bradbury occupies significant visual space without overwhelming a typical 2.5-3m dining table.
Each fitting takes a standard E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately). Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K to complement the antique white metalwork and match the vintage aesthetic of the frame design.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Bradbury takes five E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose LED candle bulbs between 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the vintage character of the antique white frame.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop of 688mm works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when hung over a dining table or in an entrance hall. For higher ceilings the 1219mm chain allows adjustment up to 3166mm total drop, giving flexibility across a range of ceiling heights.
What size room or table does it suit?
The 636mm diameter suits dining tables between 1.8m and 3m in length, or floor areas of approximately 4x4m in entrance halls and living rooms. The five-light configuration provides enough ambient coverage for these spaces without needing additional ceiling fittings.
Is the antique white finish painted or aged metal?
The antique white is a painted finish applied to the steel frame, with intentional tonal variation to give an aged, vintage appearance rather than a uniform modern white. The fluted texture of the metal bands adds shadow detail that emphasises this aged character when lit.
