Description

The Hinkley Bolla is a 489mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light with a frosted glass bowl shade suspended from two curved brushed nickel arms. The arms sweep up from a central ceiling rose, each terminating in a ball finial before curving back down to support the glass shade from opposite sides. The fitting takes two E27 bulbs (sold separately) and projects 356mm from the ceiling, making it suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where a full pendant would hang too low.

Designed for entrance halls, dining rooms and bedrooms where ceiling clearance is limited but ambient light is still needed, the Bolla provides general illumination without the drop of a pendant fitting. The frosted glass bowl diffuses light evenly across the room rather than creating hotspots, while the brushed nickel finish on the metalwork softens reflections and pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes. The semi-flush design sits close enough to the ceiling to avoid head clearance issues but far enough out to distribute light effectively.
