The Bianco is a 65cm table lamp built around a two-tone column base combining a lower cylinder of natural alabaster with an upper section of polished brass, topped with a 39cm diameter white fabric drum shade. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) up to 60W, housed inside the fabric shade which diffuses the light evenly across the room.

Yes. The lower section is cut from natural alabaster, so the veining, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is characteristic of the natural stone material, not a defect.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating confirms dry indoor use only. The lamp is not protected against moisture and should not be used in bathrooms or other humid environments.

How is the alabaster section cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid soaking it with water and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but dry immediately.
