The ESP Beacon assist call cancel module is a single-gang wall-mounted unit with a blue illuminated 'CANCEL' button and a smaller 'Assist Call' LED indicator above. The button features raised braille text and a large tactile surface for users with limited dexterity or visual impairment. When pressed, it cancels an active emergency call from a linked disabled toilet alarm system, resetting the call panel and external sounder.

Designed for accessible WCs, changing facilities and care environments, the module installs in bathrooms alongside the main assist call pull cord to give wheelchair users and ambulant disabled users a reachable reset point near the WC or wash basin. The unit fits a standard single-gang back box for flush mounting, or surface-mounts using an optional surface box (not included). The LED provides visual confirmation that the call has been acknowledged.

The brushed stainless steel faceplate measures 86mm square with rounded corners and a white plastic surround, matching standard UK electrical accessories in size and mounting. The blue LED and white text on the 'Assist Call' indicator meet contrast requirements under BS8300, the British Standard for accessible building design. The cancel button is recessed slightly to prevent accidental activation but remains easy to press when needed.

What back box is required for flush mounting?

The module fits a standard UK single-gang back box with a minimum depth of 25mm. For surface mounting, an optional single-gang surface box is needed (sold separately, not included with the module).

Is this compatible with all assist call systems?

The module is designed for use with ESP Beacon disabled toilet alarm systems. It connects via low-voltage wiring to the controller unit and may not be compatible with assist call systems from other manufacturers. Check the system documentation before ordering.
