Description

The Basic Form is an 18cm frosted opal glass sphere mounted on a gold-finished metal backplate, fitted with a single E14 bulb holder. The frosted glass diffuses the light source evenly across the sphere, providing soft ambient illumination without visible glare from the bulb itself.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (IP20-rated, dry locations only), and living room accent walls, the wall light projects approximately 21cm from the wall surface when mounted. The compact 18cm diameter suits narrow hallways and smaller rooms where a larger fitting would overpower the space. The backplate fixes to a standard UK wall-mounted back box or electrical point using the manufacturer's supplied bracket.

The gold finish on the metal backplate has a warm, polished tone that reads closer to brass than yellow gold, pairing well with warmer neutrals, terracotta, sage green and other earth-toned interiors. The frosted opal glass is a milky white that becomes translucent when the bulb is lit, allowing the warmth of the light source to show through. The metal construction and glass sphere combine to give the fitting a solid, balanced feel on the wall without adding excessive visual weight.
