Description

The Azure is a 3-light wall or flush ceiling fitting built around an abstract organic frame in white-finished metal, holding three E27 bulb sockets behind curved glass diffusers. The outer glass shell follows an asymmetric teardrop profile, with a smaller central glass bubble visible through the larger outer form, giving the fitting a layered appearance when lit.

Designed to mount flat on walls or ceilings, the Azure suits hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (IP20 dry-zone only), and living rooms where a compact fitting with diffused light is needed. The 405mm width and 305mm projection fit comfortably on walls without dominating smaller spaces, while the white finish integrates cleanly with white ceilings. The dimmable E27 sockets accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the wattage limit shown in the Specification tab, allowing control over both light level and colour temperature.

The glass diffusers soften the light output from all three bulbs into an even wash across the surface of the glass, eliminating visible bulb spots and glare. The white metal casing acts as both the structural frame and the visual surround, giving the fitting a cohesive appearance whether viewed from the front or side. The 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers the fitting itself; bulbs are sold separately and have their own rated lifespan.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The Azure carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable only for dry zones in bathrooms (zones 3 and beyond, typically outside the 2.25m radius of a shower or bath). It cannot be used in zone 0, 1 or 2 where water splashing or steam contact is likely.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting accepts three standard E27 (Edison screw) bulbs. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for a soft ambient effect.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The fitting itself is rated as dimmable, but dimming performance depends on the bulbs you fit and the dimmer switch you use. LED bulbs must be marked as dimmable, and the dimmer must be rated for LED loads.

Can it be mounted on both walls and ceilings?

Yes. The Azure is designed to mount flush on either surface. The 305mm projection from the wall gives the fitting sufficient depth to avoid looking flattened when wall-mounted, while the same profile on a ceiling reads as a low-profile flush fitting.
