Description

The Auroral is a 420mm crystal suspension light built around five E27 bulb positions enclosed within a faceted crystal cage held by a chrome metal frame. The spherical cage is formed from vertical rows of individual cut-crystal beads strung on a chrome wire structure, creating a globe of refracted light when lit. The chrome canopy and four suspension cables support the assembly on a 1700mm adjustable drop.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centrepieces, the Auroral works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The 420mm diameter and 250mm height suit spaces where a decorative focal point is needed without overwhelming the sightlines across a table. The pendant is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing output to be adjusted from bright task light during meals to low ambient light for evening use.

The crystal beads are faceted to scatter light across surrounding walls and ceilings, amplifying the output of the five bulbs. Each bead catches and refracts the light source, so the pendant produces both direct downlight through the open bottom and diffused sparkle through the crystal cage. The chrome frame and canopy provide a neutral metallic backdrop that pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors. At IP20, the fitting is rated for dry indoor use only.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal bead gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal wire structure or getting water into the lampholder assembly at the top of the pendant.
