Description

The Atom is a 9.2cm square recessed downlight with a 25° tilt adjustment, fitted with a GU10 socket and finished in powder-coated white aluminium. The inner gimbal rotates within a square flush-mount trim, allowing the light beam to be angled towards artwork, shelving, or architectural features rather than locked into a fixed downward direction.

Designed for residential and commercial installation in ceilings with at least 5cm cavity depth, the Atom suits living rooms, hallways, retail spaces, and office environments where directed accent lighting is preferred over static ambient downlights. The 9.2cm square aperture and flush-mount plate sit level with the ceiling surface once installed, giving a cleaner profile than surface-mounted spotlights. The white finish integrates with white and light-coloured ceilings without visual interruption.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting light enough for plasterboard ceiling installation while dissipating heat from the GU10 bulb (sold separately). The downlight accepts any GU10 bulb up to 50W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen, or warm/cool colour temperatures depending on the application. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — kitchens, lounges, bedrooms, offices — but not bathrooms or outdoor covered areas.
