Description

The Astrid is a 711mm diameter geometric chandelier built around an icosahedral outer cage in matte bronze, housing five E14 candle fittings on gold-finish arms inside. The five bulbs sit on upward-angled arms that radiate from a central stem, wired from below so they appear to float within the angular frame rather than hang from it. This inverted wiring gives the fitting an open, airy structure that shows off the geometry from every angle.

Designed for ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Astrid works in dining rooms, entrance halls and larger living rooms where the 711mm width can be appreciated without dominating. The 3048mm chain allows the drop to be set anywhere between 955mm minimum and 3962mm maximum on installation, so it can be fitted close to the ceiling in lower rooms or dropped dramatically in double-height spaces. The matte bronze outer cage provides a dark, grounding frame, while the gold inner arms add warmth under the light.
