Description

The Artisan is a surface-mounted single spotlight with a cylindrical white aluminium housing that tilts on a ceiling-mounted pivot ring. The spotlight takes a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) and rotates through approximately 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing directed light onto walls, worktops, artwork or architectural features. The exterior surface carries a fine diamond-pattern texture that diffuses reflections and gives the white finish a matte, technical appearance rather than a gloss.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, living rooms and retail environments where adjustable accent or task lighting is needed without a track system, the Artisan mounts directly to the ceiling via the pivot ring and connects to standard UK mains wiring. The 54mm diameter and 146mm projection suit typical 2.4m ceiling heights without the fitting appearing too large or intrusive. The interior aperture is finished in black, reducing internal reflections and giving a defined edge to the light beam when the fitting is angled.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight low at approximately 200g, making installation straightforward on standard plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use — it is not rated for bathrooms, outdoor applications or environments with moisture exposure. The white finish pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer neutrals, and the textured surface hides fingerprints and minor marks better than smooth gloss finishes.
