Description

The Artisan is a surface-mount single spotlight with a textured black aluminium cylinder that tilts and rotates on a ceiling-mounted base, housing a single GU10 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The 54mm diameter cylinder sits 146mm proud of the ceiling when angled upright, dropping to around 100mm projection when tilted to near-horizontal for wall-washing or accent lighting applications.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, retail spaces and galleries where directed task or accent light is needed without recessing into the ceiling, the Artisan fits directly to standard UK ceiling roses or junction boxes. The adjustable head allows the light beam to be aimed at worktops, art, shelving or architectural features, and can be repositioned after installation without re-wiring. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The black aluminium body carries a fine diamond-knurl texture across the cylinder surface, giving grip during adjustment and diffusing reflections under daylight. The internal reflector is finished in a darker tone to minimise glare when the fitting is viewed from below. At 10W maximum GU10 bulb rating, the Artisan suits LED GU10 bulbs in the 4-6W range for efficient accent lighting without excessive heat build-up in the aluminium housing.

The Artisan uses a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED in the 4-6W range at 2700K-3000K for warm-white accent lighting or 4000K for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cylinder tilts and rotates on the ceiling-mounted base, allowing the light beam to be redirected without re-wiring. The knurled texture on the cylinder provides grip during adjustment.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is for dry indoor locations only and should not be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or other moisture-prone areas.

What's the beam angle?

Beam angle is determined by the GU10 bulb you fit. GU10 LEDs are available in narrow spot (25-35°), medium flood (40-50°) and wide flood (60-120°) beam angles. Choose the beam width that suits your application.
