Description

The Artisan is a 200mm cylindrical wall light in white textured aluminium with dual GU10 fittings, one firing upwards and one downwards. The 54mm diameter cylinder mounts to the wall via a 67mm-wide circular backplate, projecting approximately 100mm from the surface when fitted. Each GU10 socket accepts bulbs up to 10W (sold separately), producing a symmetrical up-and-down wash of light across the wall.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living room feature walls and bedroom accent positions, the Artisan creates vertical light bands that highlight architectural features or break up long corridors. The dual-beam configuration avoids the harsh pooling typical of single-direction fittings, instead spreading light evenly above and below the fitting. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor locations only, so it cannot be used in bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.

The white finish is a textured powder coat over aluminium, not a smooth gloss, giving the surface a soft diamond-pattern texture visible in the image. This texture diffuses light reflected off the fitting body and hides fingerprints during installation. The 67mm backplate diameter allows the fitting to cover most UK standard back boxes without visible edges, and the compact 54mm cylinder body keeps the projection minimal on narrower hallways where space is tight.

The Artisan has two GU10 fittings, one firing upwards and one downwards. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED GU10 bulbs between 5-10W and 2700K-3000K for hallway and living room applications.
