Description

The Arcus is a 1m aluminium cover designed to fit over LED strip profiles, providing a protective barrier between the LED strip and the surrounding environment. The cover measures 15mm wide by 5mm in projection, fitting standard recessed or surface-mount LED profile channels. The frosted aluminium diffuses the light from the LED strip beneath, smoothing out individual LED points into a continuous line of light.

Used in kitchens, retail displays, under-cabinet lighting and commercial installations where LED strips need physical protection from dust, accidental contact or cleaning, the Arcus slots into the profile channel and can be removed for LED strip replacement or maintenance. The aluminium construction conducts heat away from the LED strip, helping maintain consistent LED output and extending the strip's operational life.

The 1m length can be cut to fit shorter profiles using a standard hacksaw or metal saw. The frosted finish reduces glare and hides the individual LED diodes behind a consistent surface, which is particularly useful in applications where the profile is mounted at eye level or where the reflection of individual LEDs would be distracting. The aluminium is lightweight at approximately 50g per metre, adding minimal load to the profile mounting.
