Description

The Arcetra is a 650mm-tall square-section aluminium LED bollard finished in grey with an integrated 4000K LED module. The head projects 130mm from the 180mm-wide square column and casts light downward and outward from a horizontal slot near the top of the fitting. The IP65 rating protects internal components against water jets from any direction and dust ingress, making the bollard suitable for year-round outdoor installation in exposed positions.

Designed for pathway lighting, driveway edges and garden boundaries, the Arcetra provides functional task light rather than decorative wash. The 4000K colour temperature sits in the neutral white range between warm residential lighting (2700-3000K) and cool commercial lighting (5000K+), giving clear visibility without the stark tone of daylight-rated LED. The bollard mounts directly into compacted soil, gravel or concrete with the base buried 100-150mm below ground level, or onto a surface-mount base plate where ground penetration is not possible.

The grey powder-coated aluminium finish resists corrosion from rain, UV exposure and coastal salt spray better than painted mild steel, and the square profile prevents the bollard from rotating once installed. The integrated LED module is non-replaceable but rated for 30,000+ hours of operation (approximately 8 years at 10 hours per day), after which the entire fitting is replaced. The 5-year manufacturer warranty from Ideal Lux covers material and LED failure but excludes damage from impact or incorrect installation.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The Arcetra uses an integrated LED module that is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, after which the entire bollard is replaced rather than serviced.

How is the bollard installed?

The bollard can be buried 100-150mm into compacted soil, gravel or concrete with the electrical cable entering through the base, or mounted onto a surface plate where ground penetration is not possible. A qualified electrician should connect the mains supply and ensure the IP65 rating is maintained at the cable entry point.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm residential lighting (2700-3000K) and cool daylight-rated LED (5000K+). It provides clear task visibility without the stark tone of commercial lighting or the warm amber tone of traditional pathway lights.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The output is fixed at the factory-rated level.
