The Amulet is a 132cm floor lamp built around a vertical gold metal column supporting 16 ribbed clear glass spheres, each separated by a gold disc spacer. An integrated 33W LED inside the column casts warm 3000K light upward through the spheres, which diffuse and refract the light into vertical striations on surrounding walls.

Designed for living rooms, studies and high-ceilinged hallways where ambient decorative lighting is needed without ceiling wiring, the Amulet provides indirect upward light rather than direct task illumination. The 25cm diameter footprint suits corners, alcoves and positions beside sofas or armchairs where a floor lamp adds height without blocking sightlines. The gold finish pairs with warm-toned interiors, brass fixtures and mid-century or Art Deco furnishings.

Each ribbed glass sphere is approximately 8-9cm in diameter with vertical grooves machined into the surface, creating a linear light pattern when the LED is active. The gold metal frame is a powder-coated finish over steel, giving a consistent satin-sheen tone across the column and spacer discs. The entire assembly stands on a 25cm circular base weighted to prevent tipping. The 33W LED output is roughly equivalent to a 200W incandescent in total light output, but distributed across the full height rather than from a single point source.

The ribbed glass design references 1960s Italian and Czech glass production, where vertical ribbing was machined into blown glass to create optical texture. Is the Amulet dimmable?

The integrated 33W LED is not dimmable on this model. The light output is fixed at 3000K warm white. If dimming is required, contact us to confirm compatibility with external LED dimming systems before purchase.

What ceiling height does it need?

The lamp stands 132cm tall from floor to top sphere. It suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above to avoid the top spheres sitting too close to the ceiling. In lower-ceilinged rooms the lamp may feel visually compressed.

Does it provide enough light for reading?

The Amulet provides ambient upward light distributed across the full height, not directed task light. For reading, pair it with a separate adjustable task lamp or table lamp positioned closer to the reading surface.

How is the glass cleaned?

The ribbed glass spheres accumulate dust in the vertical grooves. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the spheres as it may drip into the LED housing.
