Description

The Alton is a 388mm LED picture light with an integrated 6.6W 3000K LED housed in a cylindrical polished chrome bar. An adjustable chrome arm extends from a circular wall plate, allowing the light to be angled to direct illumination across artwork, photographs or mirrors mounted beneath it. The LED runs the length of the bar, casting an even wash of warm white light without creating hotspots or shadows at the edges of the frame.

Designed for smaller frames up to 600-700mm wide, the Alton suits hallways, home offices, bedroom walls and gallery groupings where multiple smaller artworks are hung close together. The 211mm projection from the wall positions the light bar forward of the frame, ensuring the illumination hits the artwork surface rather than the frame edge or mounting wall. The polished chrome finish provides a reflective surface that pairs well with modern, contemporary and minimalist interiors, and mirrors the metallic detail often found in modern frame mouldings.

The adjustable arm pivots at the wall plate, allowing the angle to be set during installation and adjusted later if the artwork is changed or repositioned. The polished chrome is a high-gloss finish that shows fingerprints during handling but cleans easily with a dry microfibre cloth once installed. At 169mm tall and 6.6W power draw, the Alton provides functional task lighting without dominating the visual space or adding significant electrical load.
