Description

The Aeron is a 24cm diameter pendant light with an egg-shaped open-frame mesh made from powder-coated white metal. The mesh is woven from fine wire in a diamond lattice pattern, creating a semi-transparent shade that shows the E27 bulb inside while diffusing and texturing the light cast onto surrounding surfaces. The pendant hangs on a 2m white fabric cable from a matching white ceiling rose.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, breakfast bars and hallways, the Aeron works as task lighting over worktops and tables or as decorative accent lighting in entrance halls and landings. The 24cm diameter suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when hung 700-900mm above a surface. The open-frame construction keeps the visual weight low, making it suitable for smaller rooms where a solid shade would dominate. The IP20 rating means the fitting is for dry indoor use only.

The white powder-coated finish on the metal mesh gives a consistent matt surface that pairs with both cool-toned and warm interiors. The mesh itself is lightweight aluminium, so the complete fitting weighs less than 400g despite the substantial appearance. The E27 fitting accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W, and the pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb (sold separately).
