Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24Y3M is a 3m yellow LED strip light running on 24V DC, delivering 105 lumens per metre from 60 x 2835 SMD LEDs spaced evenly along an 8mm-wide flexible PCB. The strip arrives as a single 3000mm reel with self-adhesive 3M tape on the reverse, ready to be mounted inside profiles, under cabinets, behind headboards, or along architectural features where yellow accent or decorative lighting is needed.
Designed for internal use only (IP20 rating), the strip suits applications where coloured mood lighting adds visual interest without needing full illumination — bar counters, retail displays, gaming setups, cinema rooms, or highlighting alcoves and shelving. The 24V operating voltage reduces voltage drop over longer runs compared to 12V strips, allowing continuous runs up to 20m from a single feed point when paired with an appropriately rated constant voltage driver. The strip can be cut to length every 100mm at marked intervals, giving flexibility to match exact installation dimensions.
The yellow light output is pure coloured LED rather than filtered white, producing a saturated amber-yellow tone that reads closer to traffic-light yellow than warm white. The 4.8W per metre power draw keeps heat generation minimal, and the 2.1mm projection allows the strip to fit inside shallow profiles or recesses. Dimming requires a compatible 24V LED dimmer and driver combination (both sold separately). Knightsbridge manufactures this strip in 1m, 3m, 5m and 50m reel options, alongside a range of aluminium profiles, connectors, drivers and controllers that pair with the entire LED flex range.

Frequently Asked
What driver does this strip need?
The strip requires a 24V constant voltage LED driver. For the full 3m length drawing 14.4W total (4.8W per metre), a driver rated at 20W or above is recommended to allow headroom. Knightsbridge and third-party 24V drivers are available separately at Niori.
Can the strip be cut to a shorter length?
Yes. The strip has cut marks every 100mm along its length. Cut only at these marked points to avoid damaging the circuit. Once cut, sections can be reconnected using solderless connectors or soldered joins.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the driver and control gear used. Pair the strip with a dimmable 24V LED driver and a compatible dimmer (trailing-edge LED dimmer or 0-10V controller depending on driver type). The strip itself supports dimming when the correct components are in place.
What is the yellow colour used for?
Yellow LED strips are used where saturated colour accent is wanted rather than functional illumination — retail displays highlighting specific products, bar and restaurant feature lighting, gaming and entertainment setups, or architectural detailing in commercial interiors. The yellow reads closer to traffic-light amber than warm white.
